I am a PhD candidate at the School of Criminal Justice, University at Albany, SUNY. I am currently working as a graduate assistant at the Center for Social and Demographic Analysis (CSDA) at the University at Albany. My research interests include criminal careers, lifecourse criminology, measurement error, longitudinal self-report, and demography of crime. My dissertation explores both differential criminal involvement and differential system treatment by demographic groups, which are two competing hypotheses to explain the overrepresentation of racial minorities in the American Criminal Justice system.
